Thought he sounded ok. Like he said, if the takeover/investment was off he'd be able to talk about it.
 
Heads up me arse with this, really don’t know if I am to take Donald at face value or not.

Is he just trying to spin this and deflect the **** show. Heads battered.
 
Will listen more later, but sounded like he was a bit down and struggling a bit. The bit I heard he mentioned players we have signed for money still leads me to believe he is having his sack stood on

I don't think he was as if he was talking **** on live radio that's him done even more so than he was if this fell through.

That was positive but he seemed very keen not to mention MSD by name (well, the members of it). Just kept saying we're still hoping to get investment in and that no one has left the table. Sounded to me like they might be getting cold feet but haven't actually walked away yet but that Donald is also speaking to others. Nowt itk there like, just thought he sounded very vague when mentioning "investment"

Hmmm I'm still confident it will go through tbh SD just sounds down as he will be out of his depth dealing with these guys.

The people he is dealing with are hard nosed incredibly rich business men, you don't get that rich without having a mean streak

They will have seen the fire this takeover has started and as the days drag on they will have seen the corner SD is being backed into.

Talking about the money spent might appease fans, but in the cold light of day, to them it is unimportant, all they will see is a team not at the top of the league and not having happy customers.

They will IN MY Opinion use those to drive the hardest bargain possible

I might go have a browse of RTG after my dinner and have a chuckle imagine there will be some meltdowns over sad smug pricks hoping its deffo off.

Thats not you either Smug/Reiv I mean the actual ****ers over there who would be buzzing it fell through just to feel like been proved right online.

If he wants to stay on as he said and they accepted but can't announce yet then he now has a new Boss. He may not be used to it and they have told him sack JR he's not good enough.

Maybe thats why sounded down?
 
there's a lot a people clutching at straws , but nobody on here knows a damn this really.

it sounds on to me though I think he pretty much told you it was on without actually saying it, but then he indicates nothings happening soon … weird
