Don’t suppose you know which Wednesday?
It's the price you pay for infoSerious question. How do you stop getting so many emails from this website? I’m getting loads and I only bloody signed up yesterday.
I’ve disabled all emails 5 times, emailed them to try and delete the account etc. It’s infuriating

There is a link in the emails to disable all
Click the unwatch thread at top of page mate. I tried changing alerts and everything, still got bloody emails. Unwatching the thread is the only one that worked!Serious question. How do you stop getting so many emails from this website? I’m getting loads and I only bloody signed up yesterday.

When you receive one mark it as spam/junk. From that point on it will just go into your junk/spam folderI’m embarrassed to say how many times I’ve done that in the last 24 hours. Nothing seems to work
I don't think you have to explain yourself on this forum.
For me, I appreciate the details you've provided. I don't hold you to the exact details, but I believe that the general drift is accurate.
Carry on posting.

I was going to post this last night and spent ages looking for the post (on rtg), but couldn't find it...its somewhere in amongst the ****e in the "SAFC takeover latest thread".
A lad posted weeks ago that the date to look out for would be October 9th. It stuck in my mind that it just seemed a bit "informed" for want of a better word, yet seemed to go unnoticed.
I cant even remember the posters name tbh.
Top post GGThis. Either we accept people posting bits they've heard and take it in the spirit intended, or we say any post has to be backed up by a link and solid proof, at which point we'll get no speculation/ potential info at all. I know which one I'd prefer.
Personally I enjoy seeing the stuff posted and I'll then decide how much, if any, stock I want to put on its accuracy.
With smug I'm pretty much on the fence about what he posts. That's not meant to sound disrespectful or as if I don't believe him. From what I've heard he's a canny bloke, does a lot to help fans, is well known in real life, he's just not the type I would ever imagine bull ****ting, he wouldn't do that about something as important as this. I absolutely believe he saw the WhatsApp congratulating the lad on buying the club.
The only reason I don't fully buy everything he posts is because I don't think everything he posts comes from one solid source. I think a lot (as he has said himself) has come from the fact that he's become something of a conduit, people who have (or think they have) info are going to him rather than taking the ridiculous levels of stick you get on the board for posting.
I'm sure he will filter out any that he thinks are complete bollocks but when getting info from numerous people, many of whom he might not know in person, there's always the risk that some info passed in good faith won't be accurate. And that's absolutely fine, it's been class reading it all, thinking about whether it makes sense, does it fit in with how we imagine the talks would go etc. People just need to take it in the right spirit, don't go betting the house on it being 100% (nothing ever is, especially when things can change so much) and say cheers to smug for taking the time to do it, it's certainly made for a much more entertaining few weeks!
What I had to do was when a email came through I had to go to my email settings and block “not606”. Only way they stopped for me.Serious question. How do you stop getting so many emails from this website? I’m getting loads and I only bloody signed up yesterday.

Was it yesterday you said you wouldnt post anything unless it was categorically from a source that was party to tbe deal, or words to tjat effect? So i assume this is from a cast iron source and therefore it will be 100% or you wouldnt have posted it?I was told, by someone who is well connected, that a 'talk the talk' deadline has been put at close of play on Wednesday.
After that it's walk the walk if it's not all agreed.
That's all I can say on that subject.
I have a busy day so won't be on much unless I have real news.
