Rumour 1 ) SD has gone to the USA
Rumour 2) SD told someone itll be done within days - Monday or Tuesday.

If the above are true then I'm reading it as he has flown over there to tie up the loose ends and they all sign the paperwork to complete

I can only see the USA trip as a positive, if that really is where hes gone. Not sure how many times they've been here but I only really know of the once (when at the game). If buying a club obviously you need to come and look around to see what you might be getting and get a feel for the place and the staff. After that there's no need to go back until it's done. If it's a meeting to thrash the last bits out and get it signed then it makes sense for Donald to go there. With the greatest of respect for Donald I'm sure he's less busy than they are, and there's 3 of them! Either way the end must be in sight, I can't see him going there just for a progress meeting. Wanting him there in person suggests something is happening one way or the other

When did Donald say it would be done within days? Have I missed something?

Someone definitely came up the weekend of the 7th as the club’s business advisor was making posts on Twitter saying “coming to the SoL on a non match day” with a winking emoji and then there was that picture of Methven talking to someone at the AoL from that same day.

IF true, then i agree. Lets face it. This deal is a bigger deal for Donald (Most of his eggs are in the SAFC basket) while the other lads have massive business to keep going at he same time. Please god it's sorted this week. My ticker can't take much more of this uncertainty. We need this badly

I read it somewhere,
that’s new day coaches do it now, they tell the team before kick off, how he want them setting up and playing etc, halve time do adjustments If need be, then full time, feedback etc, Supposedly shouting and raving at the touch line is old school.
well that’s what I read anyway

Think there may be a certain manager of the current European Champions that may disagree with that.

Getting 3 very busy businessmen in the same room with SD to sign on the dotted line ,will be some task ..Maybe easier for SD to do the travelling and if his future role is a point of discussion better face to face I would think.

Agreed. He's definitely somewhere. He was meant to be traveling to Lincoln with Shields and didn't, doesn't seem to have been seen at the game either. He's not the type to just cancel for no reason. I know someone rumoured that one of his parents hasn't been well, let's just hope it's nothing to do with that. And assuming it isn't, I can't really think of anything else that would be likely to take him away at this stage. Put it this way, I'll be pretty down if we haven't heard something fairly concrete by the end of the week

I've had 2 messages from different people saying 'people are flying all over the place and you can take that as the process accelerating.'

Donald isn't the only person with a passport.

Not rumoured, he actually tweeted about his parents himself.

Not asking for him to be a raving lunatic on the touchline, just show that he gives a toss every now and then....if the team are performing, then he can be chilled....

agreed but he is also the only one who can sell the club....

I'm sure someone from the Shields branch he was meant to travel with confirmed they had communication that he was in the States and he could not attend. Maybe thats why the talk in was cancelled also

I agree. I want to see the players playing with fire in their belly and a manager with passion who instils that, not some half asleep bloke in a cardigan who doesn’t appear to care.

I remember people getting annoyed at Keane standing hands in pockets leaning against the dugout. Seems a lot of those who are calling Ross for this, also want Keano back.
I've not mentioned Keano in my post, and I wouldn't want him back here....Ross needs to get into his players and show he cares to the crowd.

If we were flying then he can stand or sit where he chooses, but the way the team are playing he should be raging on the touchline....Just show you give a **** Jack....

Agree, I think it was last home game, looked like their player lashed out at Power right in front of the dugouts. If Ross had been more animated it could and should have been a red card instead of a yellow. He seems to conscious of keeping this cool headed intellectual persona.
