I don't know if it's just me with this particular forum, but I'm feeling much more chilled out about the takeover, it will take as long as it needs, If the Dell lads are being sensible and taking their time and looking into all the nooks and crannies there shouldn't be any nasty surprises in the future for them or for us mere supporters. So take your time lads and do things right. FTM.

I'm starting to doubt my own sanity here.

I'll post a little more later but, in the meantime, would ask anyone interested to look at the posts from @Hotlips

I found them quite bizarre as we're his private messages to me. The fact his avatar is a threatening looking man pointing a large handgun was deliberate imo. Whatever the case its quite strange for an avatar on a football chat forum.

His posts finger me as 'a person of interest' to both Donald & Methven. It seems I was to blame for rumours eminating from the Consett talk in, primarily the 50/50 nonsense. That made me the reason for the Twitter denial apparently. As that had nothing to do with me I asked if he'd posted a similar warning on RTG which is much bigger and more influential.

Despite being totally aware of everything on RTG he hadn't posted anything at all despite his 'deep concern' which is bizarre.

He asked me to contact both SD and CM who'd confirm his claims. I told him I'd be quite happy to speak to anyone and that they should contact me.

He's now scuttled of and is refusing to speak on the matter ...

I thought they were strange posts at the time.

If say a Supermarket or a bank are bought out / there is a merger, are the customers of these businesses not allowed to discuss and speculate what the end result will be? There's no difference imo. I would personally put it down to a wum or a headcase and not worry about it
