I was told by an ITK mate that Nathan Jones, the Luton manager, was about to leave despite flying with them and being idolised by the supporters.

I posted it on RTG, whacked a big lump of money on and suffered the ridicule of Luton supporters who thought he'd never leave.

I made a lot of money.

The same lad told me to put money on him departing Stoke if they didn't beat Huddersfield.

I've been so busy i totally forget to put money on it and am now praying he stays and makes a success of it.

What are my chances ...

I heard today that they are eying Pulis up for a return.
If he makes it to the weekend id defo put a few quid on if i was you.

Bit harsh that marra as no one will know the full facts, Luton don't appear to be coping as well as Charlton but Barnsley are 2nd bottom on 5 points so maybe any div 3 team would struggle to adapt? Us included.

I have no doubt we’d struggle but what jones did was swap a solid team looking up for one on its way down. FWIW I rate Bowyer as a manager. As a person he’s a twat! But as a manager he’s looking every bit the part. Jones did very well at Luton and moved to what he perceived as a better prospect. I have little to no sympathy!!

All 3 much better sides than we were last season and in a less competitive season this year in the c'ship.
We would need a complete new team. Given ross is barely coping despite having an embarassment of riches ( comparatively ) he really is going to struggle if, by some freak, we get promoted with him

<laugh> no bother mate - different one to me - the only forums I have ever been on are this one and the original BBC 606 site before it closed. Registered on a few but couldn't get into them like I did this one. We have our share of idiots and decent posters in a 20/80 split I'd say - although that percentage may change in the coming weeks :)
