On a side note just had a look at the other forum and some people are now saying it’ll be karma if the mags get taken over and we don’t.

There's very little thought goes into most of the replies, just an endless stream of predictable agenda driven dross.

I reckon stew was on a hiding to nowt doing that last night. He might have been better just saying he couldn’t talk about it as the resident nobs on rtg would put a negative slant in it. Been on there since 2002 but it’s never been worse than it is now. I mainly post on the cricket forum as that does seem a bit better.
anyway what does it matter if it’s this week or next as there’s not a lot they can do on the football side - as long as it gets there that’s the main thing.
keep the faith as it could be very exciting times ahead!!

If you continue in a similar vein then here is a serious danger that you could bring this board into disrepute.
I'm not 'in the know' but I am sufficiently familiar with the workings of SAFC to know that in the current circumstances posts of this nature are far from helpful.
That's a fair point and I'll take some time to reflect on what you've said.
All I'll say, at the moment, is that all parties involved seem to be speaking quite freely about the situation.
The leak of information to the fanzines is typical of that.
However, I'll leave it there for the moment as you make a good point.
I would say that Donald himself was being circumspect when speaking publically. He then spoke in private to one individual saying something different. In other words he was more relaxed and not trying to be careful with his words and thus is nearer the truth than what he said on a microphone to 200 supporters. He is a clever enough man to know what he said in private will be relayed to other fans via word of mouth or social media, and is perhaps what he would have liked to say on the microphone but was unable to.
