Also, and all joking aside, it seems incredibly **** that the thousands of Sunderland fans who don’t happen to be in the Consett branch can’t find out what’s happening with the club when the owner is clearly happy to answer questions about it.

Evening All! So other than the confirmation of Nathan O'brien to the board and the build up to the talk in this evening I'm surprised there hasn't been any further chatter / activity following last nights posts on here in relation to the apparent frenzied activity behind the scenes at the club, the bombardier jet flying in etc. etc.

All eyes now turn to tonights talk in where hopefully SD will be able to provide some sort of update on what is happening. I for one would be more than happy with any form of confirmation from SD that everything is on track as this would be the first sort of 'official' confirmation that we've had. I'm not expecting anything too detailed or revealing about the long term plans at the talk in - I'll wait patiently for that for when the official announcement is made.

I'm hoping the obvious work that is going on behind the scenes is due to the group finalising plans not just for the forward plan for the club moving forward but also for the future development of the ground and the surrounding area to ensure that the formal announcement packs the punch that makes everyone sit up, rub their eyes, pick their chins off the floor and go mental!!!!

SD: Right lads were absolutely loaded now and Messi is having a medical as we speak.

Keep it under your hats though, can’t have it coming out.
