Morning all! Here’s hoping it’s today! I’m either going to have a really busy afternoon if all my clients turn up or a really quiet one if they don’t meaning I can have a leisurely afternoon checking the forum and scouring the internet and Twitter for any breaking news.

Just been reading how Peter Kenton is trying to buy the Mags.
Nowt new there, he’s always trying to buy ****e, but there’s some golden titbits in his glossy catalogue for ‘investors’.
He plans to support manager Steve Bruce ‘given his unparalleled success in europe’, and goes on to mention Newcastle ‘having spent 87 or their 89 years as a top flight club’.
He’s either taking the piss, or on crack. Either way it sounds like exactly the kind of takeover we want to happen up the road

When I was a bairn we were always threatened with the bouncer from the club if we were naughty.
He was ex-military, 'shell shocked', head like a polished walnut and a voice that could be heard in Leadgate.
The inside of his jacket was silk lined so he could slip it off and whack people before they had time to finish the sentence, "Haway then, you baldy ****."
In my case it's her. Once it's announced she think's i'll mow the lawn. Little does she know

Yes,it has.I hardly recognise it......that Weatherspoons on the bus station.....can't get used to that!
Mind you,there is a lot I notice,particularly in Blackhill and Medomsley areas, which haven't changed a bit since I was a kid.
