I don’t think I could handle loosing out on 4 multi billionaires to a family of scrap men from Boldon.
I’m hoping he wouldn’t marra I can’t imagine he’d get as much out of it either.
I don't that O'Brien could afford us even at the "paltry" £40m asking price. Not in that league in my opinion.
He'd recently said that he'd do what's best for the club, not himself.
Even if they could, how could they afford us in the long run? They'd need to spend a lot more

That’s reassuring. There’s a lad on RTG reckons one of the sons is coming in as a commercial director, no idea if it’s true. I’ve read it since my original post so ‘being interested in the takeover’ could be a play on words.

Stewart donald will only sell to people who can take the club to the next levels he's been adamant about that from day 1. He could have sold the club to lots of different people but he's declined because they haven't the funds to do what he wants people to do with the club

It’s canny over here mate I must admit .The Mods really don't help do they? They're now relentlessly deleting posts with the slightest mention of this board. If they were half as keen to delete posts from blatantly obvious wums & Mags they might have a little more credibility.

I think it sounds a lot more likely that he'll be the commercial director - especially if it's true that he was videoed/photoed with the Dell Boys.
A friend of mine. His wife works with them in some sort of capacity. Trying to be careful with what I say. Apparently one of the O’Briens has been out to America staying on someone’s ranch talking business. I have no reason to disbelieve him but how true it is I really don’t know. Don’t know if this fits in with anything you have heard.
