The amount flocking to this thread when there’s no new info at all and hasn’t been in weeks:emoticon-0102-bigsm
That's because it was either your trolling (if it is you) or the trolling from others that got a bit boring in the end, especially when just regurgitating the same old ****e. You can just see how much that takeover thread is dead now as the argument is about Ross yet again and can't even be a daft idle chit chat while we wait about for any updates from whatever source! :emoticon-0113-sleep

I see you've managed your first subtle dig with regards that you say there hasn't been no new info in weeks. I haven't fully read the thread but I think there's been info from various posters in that time but who gives a **** if there has or hasn't or if it's true or not? What people aren't interested in is ****e that you and other have posted elsewhere and will no doubt end up wanting to post here while contributing the square root of **** all to the thread :emoticon-0138-think

It will be interesting to see how it goes :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Well said. I came over here to get away from all that crap so hope it doesn't start here. By the way, where is the ignore button? :emoticon-0100-smile

Oops my blue ink ran into your post! :emoticon-0102-bigsm or is that mod ink?

Aye he's probably mentioned it as he mentioned it elsewhere but I thought I'd poke him again to get an updated point of view. I'm also interested in knowing what Wolves have 'spent' getting to where they did last season.

This next bit is a little off subject but I may as well say it. It may be class for fans who go to away games but getting into Europe looks to be costing them at the moment. It's going to be an extra 12 games overall for Wolves after the remaining 5 group stage games and I don't think they'll even go through.

Burnley struggled last season winning just 2 of their first 15 league games when they were in the Europa league and they didn't even get to the group stages. Everton won 3 of their first 13 games the season before (and lost the first 5 of their 6 group games) and only started winning regularly once they were out of the Europa League from the back end of November.

It makes you wonder if all those extra games (including training/travelling) early season are worth the few million extra in revenue if it affects a team in the league like it seems to have done the last 3 seasons.

I think you would have to consider a few teams I to what they have spent to stay in the premier league. Last season you could have looked at what Fulham spent, just on players alone not including wages, and they went down.

The thing I think we need the most in that right investment, bringing in the right people to get us up and keep us there. Then develop the squad into a European team. The teams that have done poorly going into Europe, which I imagine wolves will do, is they don't have the depth to cover when they have 3 games from Saturday to Saturday with traveling to the arse end of Europe in between

Not sure where we are with the take over talks or what their intentions are. What I do know is that we are already in a much better financial place than we were when Donald arrived, and could progress if we were all batting for the same side. Sadly, this now just seems a pipe-dream to me with the wounds well and truly reopened.
I only can hope that all the bad feeling doesn't put the new investors off.
It has been intimated (elsewhere of course but maybe also here) that perhaps the way things are happening in the background, such as the Alvarez Dr case that 'maybe' we do already have new owners and they're still lining all their ducks up to make a big splash when it is announced. As in a 'look at us ladies and gents, we ain't here to **** around...'
