No wonder there is a dearth of genuine comedians from the South Coast, compared to Liverpool or Glasgow, if this is funny.

Whats up with you fella, you werent there - the policemen were not at odds with the Saints fans nor vice versa, it was banter , not stand up comedy ! You appear to be a keyboard-only sports fan to me. If fans who actually go to games didnt take the piss out of each other and didnt chant and sing daft songs there would be no bloody atmosphere for silly old sods like you to sit in your armchair and enjoy when you turn on your tv ! By the way the police actually did a damn good job last night.

What you guys make of it then?

Thought that we played well for the first 25 mins and just lacked a bit of end product to capitalise.

You guys then had a good spell and scored - our misplaced place just before half time effectively killed the tie.

Second half we had the odd half chance but the difference in class was really telling.

Thought our defending and passing in midfield was woeful at times and it reflects our league form which is similar.

Fans were good but 4-0 wasn't an unfair reflection - maybe deserved a consolation.

I'm thinking about moving to Thornhill.

Surprised you support Pompey this week, didn't Liverpool win?

Now to the important matter of finding a way to beat a rejuvenated Bolton Wanderers.
