You cannot seriously believe that there is a chance of a left wing Brexit Staines. As it stands it is a right wing coup which wants only to de regulate Britain to make it attractive to the rest of the World's predatory capital to jump in - a type of bargain basement society where the poor will go to the wall.

Let's go back 5 years. Was the country divided like it is now? Were families and friends divided like they are now?
Was being a member state of the EU such a massive problem or even just a small inconvenience to anyone? If so how did it affect you?
Was the pound as low as it was now?
Then what happened, the media and the powers that be spread a hate campaign against being in the EU, the Tories/Lib dems instigated a referendum after ramping up such negative rhetoric. 17.4m people voted to leave, (with a deal or not with a deal, who ****ing knows) based on fabrications of the truth, promises of easy deals, posters of Syrian immigrants and a general lack of information. Here we are now, oh what a ****ing mess. This country will never, ever be the same again. Was it worth it??? Was it ****! Who can we blame for this mess?? Ah yes the EU.

This has all been media driven for decades, taking a page out of Goebbels playbook, tell a lie and repeat and repeat. Eventually it will become the truth to some of the population. Just find it insane, on one hand you have a bunch of politicians vote against no deal, probable career suicide, no evidence of anything to gain. On the other hand you have venture capitalists like Mogg who have made an absolute fortune over this betting against the Britain's economy. One of these types is a 'traitor' the other a man of the people....
If you repeat the lies (like you said) put them on the front of a national newspaper and then hand them out free on the counter of every newsagents for a month, then people do believe the ****e. These are the same people who are most likely to be affected by a no deal scenario according to our own governments projections. Honestly some people are as thick as pig ****. If a politician truly believes that leaving is going to damage our economy or generally make things worse, so in turn wants to remain then to me that politician is a hell of a lot more patriotic to their country than someone who wishes a bumpy road! Or half a century before we see any benefit!
I really am intrigued to hear any examples of how being a member state of the EU has affected your life in any way shape or form. I'm not posting that in a sarcastic manner but one originating out of intrigue and interest.
Working time directive, what a bunch of bastards they are for putting that on us. Can see workers rights eroding as part of the bulldog spirit needed to get through this. Not sure being positive will be quite enough, it'll be worth it for sovereignty or something though I expect. Or just to get rid of those corrupt politicians in Europe, don't they know in the UK we have the best corrupt politicians in the world!
I'm just after some personal experiences of how it has affected individuals or families.
Only positives for me, a very strange fella on the Prem board once banged on about restrictions on the power of vacuum cleaners, said something about dog hair but after a rather embarrassing accidental disclosure from him, I suspect he wanted more suck for another reason.
Only positives for me for example, 3 successful compensation packages for delayed flights. 2 hospitisations (the mrs) in EU countries with the European Health Insurance card. 3 jobs abroad (holland, Italy twice) without need for Visa application and cost. Freedom to move between other EU countries.

I'm quite surprised at the lack of response for negative personal experiences considering the passion and determination from people who want to leave.
There is that yeah! But seriously if anyone gives two flying ****s what colour their passport is then they really do have issues with themselves.
He stood in the 2017 general election on a manifesto that said they would deliver Brexit, the Tories did the same, I’m not defending them, but Brexit has been blocked by devious and dishonest MP’s on both sides, but Comrade Jezzbollah is now saying he’ll campaign for Remain or Remain neutral , but I agree with you what a ****ing choice, but honestly I’d still go with Boris, as I feel Corbyn would be a disaster waiting to happen.
And Boris is a disaster happening. Out of interest Turkish as I presume you are a leaver, what personal negative experiences have you had due to us being a member of the EU?
You seem to believe that Brexit is only a right wing belief. As I’ve said many many times, there are many on the Left (mainly, but not all, working class) who believe it is the correct way forward.
Again, as I’ve said before, read the writings of someone like Paul Embery for a far more articulate case for Brexit than I can ever make.
We’ve done this before Bob, I quoted you the net contribution to the EU coffers of approximately 9 billion pounds.
Money that contributes to wages, pensions, meals, allowances etc of various unelected officials as well as the bizarre move of the EU parliament once a month from Brussels to Strasbourg, which I think costs about £150 million a year.
Of course that doesn’t effect ME directly, but of course it means there is less to spend in this country on schools, hospitals, care etc (not saying it will be once we leave but one step at a time). More money to spend here for me personally, might mean my autistic son is able to access more ‘one to one’ classroom assistance that the school budget doesn’t stretch to.

No worries but not asking for ifs or buts mate. Just how has it personally affected people for them to feel so strongly about wanting to leave. Why do you think leaving would put more money in your pocket? People voted for reasons and I'm just trying to understand what drove them. Not what could be different or what money went where etc but what actually personally affects their every day life that will suddenly improve after brexit. No offence intended Staines but your son doesnt get the necessary attention he deserves due to cuts in social welfare and education, not because we are in the EU.
I didn't say that Brexit was only a right wing belief Staines, I said that it is only a right wing Brexit which is currently on offer. I know that for many the EU. is a neo liberalist club which has effectively banned real socialism to the sidelines - my own dream of a perfect society would not be possible within such a framework. On the left they have seen the enforced privatizations in Greece, the enforced austerity and neo liberal policies, the lionization of the Ukraine and the demonization of anything Russian. The EU is certainly a right wing club - but the UK is even further right, and likely to go further in that direction when freed of those irritating EU laws on work and environmental protection. The Left would be better off staying and fighting together to really take back Europe for it's citizens - in solidarity with their brothers in Germany, France and elsewhere. If I thought for one minute that Britain, outside of the EU., would become a decentralized self sufficient socialist federation which valued the contribution, and needs, of every citizen then I would jump at it - but what is really beckoning is a series of TTIP style arrangements with the likes of the USA and China. In the EU we have a pooled sovereignty which is worth more than what is waiting for us if the likes of Bojo and Trump have their way.
But isn’t it just simple maths.......more money staying in the country means more money we have to spend on people, thus meaning we don’t need to cut spending on education.
