As you might imagine there are many comments I would like to make, but have taken them elsewhere. I have thought that maybe we could have some form of debate without it becoming a party political matter, but we have tried that before, and it descended into a slanging match. There are places where you can have a reasoned thoughtful debate, and I find some of them quite amusing, as I watch arguments collapse as events change. When I feel sure that we will not return to slogans, just headlines from newspapers, and I get representation from others to have a debate again, I would be happy, but the overall discussions here have been far less taxing on my few brain cells for the past few weeks.
To have an open and reasoned debate it requires a shared willingness to accept that others are entitled to express views which you may not agree with. On this forum there is a dominating group who seem to collectively ensure certain political views are not welcome, i.e. support for Tories / Brexit etc. This clearly explains why the views expressed are so lopsided. Until this changes it will be impossible to have sensible discussions in a friendly manner.
Hi Boris, have you seen the latest opinion poll, overwhelmingly the British public now agree the referendum result should be respected. No wonder Corbyn is so damn unpopular.
https://whatukthinks.org/eu/questio...n-was-right-or-wrong-to-vote-to-leave-the-eu/ Except for the 128 polls dated to Sept 3rd that are 54% to 46% thinking it was a mistake to leave. Never let the facts get in the way of your argument, sh.
The more shenanigans the MPs employ denying the democratic process of Brexit the greater support for leave, this will continue to grow. Old polls are simply out of date and meaningless.
September 2019. So out of date. Democracy is the rule of the people. The people don’t want Brexit - let alone No Deal Brexit. That’s a fact. Irrespective of Boris’s spiel. Boris. So well named. Obvious in whose employ he is.
The UK public are now patently aware that those constantly looking for negatives are simply trying to reverse the referendum decision. This is why there is overwhelming support for leaving on the 31st October.
This is the same bullshit Boris chucks out. Saying something doesn’t make it true. The public don’t want to leave. Fact. And definitely not with non-mandated No Deal. There is overwhelming rejection of leaving in October. That’s a fact, not just something floating around with the fluff and stuffing in Boris’s vacuum of a bonce.
I’m surprised you have not seen them, don’t worry more will come along. How about Corbyn and the Labour Party languishing in the polls? Corbyn is doing a great job for the Tories.
