Should Markus be put straight back in? I haven’t had much time for City in the last year due to work commitments, but I think we could do with him playing, he has now said he will be committed to the team.

Dunno. Has he been training, is he fit?

I don't really know what the story is with Henriksen , seems like everybody expected him to leave

If he's at the club and getting paid then he should be available for selection along with everybody else

He's with the Norwegian international squad and has been pretty active on social media with clips of him training on his own...
So he's most likely ready to go

All this talk about Hendrickson. He's **** anyway isn't he?

It's a bit worrying when we're concerned about a **** midfielders future.

How far we've fallen :emoticon-0106-cryin

I’m not his biggest fan. The way our current midfielders are playing I could only see Henriksen on the bench.

Stewart and Irvine have been great and Batty/Honeyman/Lopes have looked decent when called upon.

I’d rather focus on players that are here longer term than feeling any obligation to play Henriksen just because he hasn’t moved on.

I'm asking as I really haven't seen much just recently, and I'm not in a position to make a judgement. The only judgement that I can make is that our results have been ok so far, but looks like we could do with a bit more, and would his return help us improve? He obviously had a decent season overall last season, and he's playing for Norway at the moment.

It certainly seems Ehab's gamble backfired, they got a bid last window, took the option on a further year on his contract, thinking he would be sold for a good price this window and then couldn't sell him for the price they wanted. So has to pay another seasons salary, unless he goes in January.

As I said earlier I suspect that's why Dicko went, at least one big salary off the books.

IMO certainly a better option in midfield than we have at present, but not sure he is the pressing type, so does he fit in with McCann's way of playing?

I’m not sure Henriksen is better than the options we have? I think our midfield has been excellent so far along with our wingers. The problem areas for me have been centre forward and full back.

I found Henriksen inconsistent, he’d often go missing in games and he was a bit soft for the Championship.

His stock must be low when no team will take an international player at a reasonable price.

Teams did want him but we're turned away, sometimes by City and sometimes by Henriksen. Presumably the wages and/or transfer fee were the problem.

I think he's good enough to fight for a place in the team. Whether he'll ever be starting ahead of the current three I'm not sure, but he's worth gradually reintroducing to the team, particularly if all these injuries turn out to rule players out of the next few games.

Well I for one didn't anticipate we would still have Henriksen, Bowen and Turbo still in the building once the transfer window closed. If we are ever to mount any sort of challenge towards the top of the table now is the time to do it, without which I genuinely fear for where we'll find ourselves come next Summer when they are gone.

Henriksen in spite of being Norways captain has never quite won me over, but get him the squad for me

Results ok so far ? Not in my book. One win from six is **** and we are a draw away from the bottom three. I would say we are in a poor position at present and things need to improve fast. It’s alright playing attractive attacking football but this is a results based business. I hope the closeness of the results mean we can turn in some wins but anyone who could improve the team must be considered for selection.

Not good enough. Hence he hasn't moved on.
