There is no point blaming the MPs for reflecting the state of UK opinion on Brexit. There is no clear majority for any option in the array of choices between Leave no deal and join the Euro to promote a federal state. Which just makes it all a stupid idea that will cause trouble for many years to come, regardless of your preference.
me too I have managed to avoid all Brexit chat on here for months. Thought I would dive back in to cheer up the end of the work day
Because the public was lied to and an illegal campaign with foreign funding promised the impossible. The debate is over. Brexit means Bullshit. I don't care if you don't feel that you weren't mugged off. Nobody ever admits that they were. You've agreed that the evidence demonstrates that the promised Brexit deal cannot happen. Boris was selected by a party that's funded by the dead. He has no mandate either, by his own comments about Brown. Brexiters couldn't give a **** about democracy or parliament. It's a religion and they have faith. It's that simple.
hehe, I need Tobes to get involved as well. Tobes is awesome when it comes to Brexit. please log in to view this image
If we won 7 referendums, back to back, you would still be in here with some weak sauce excuse as to how it wasn't fair etc. please log in to view this image
Three years ago the public voted leave. In those three years the majority have shown opposition to any kind of deal. They've shown opposition to no deal. If you think leaving no deal will end the debate then you are being very naive. It will just be the beginning of the inquest. Boris has you truly fooled. He wants to trigger parliament to stop him and this is just the start of phase two of his plan to get a decent majority in a GE. He needs you and everyone like you to blame the EU and parliament for the failure of Brexit so he can claim to be the saviour and win over those who are currently voting for the brexit party. You need to realise that for Boris this is just another game in the Oxford debating society where winning is more important than truth and honesty. It's about being seen as beleivable rather than right. It's not about claiming those who voted leave are stupid or tricked, it's about recognising the game being played by those pulling the strings, it's not for yours or my benefit.
