Bit too early for McCann, but what about the rest of them?

We've had 5 managers during the last 3 or so years.
How'd you rank them?

Personal ranking

1: Steve Bruce. Pretty easy really. Best we've had since I started following City. Miss his big fat head :emoticon-0152-heart

2: Nigel Adkins. Wasn't convinced at first, but loved his attitude, seemed liked by the players and a all around good guy. Just a shame about the muppets above pulling the strings.

3: Marco Silva. Really thought we had something going there. Brought something new, fresh, exciting, bit of a "what could've been" . Hasn't really impressed a lot in the Prem tho has he?

4: Leonid Slutsky. I liked Slutsky. His non stop nervous wandering was....cute. Just felt like the wrong timing for our Russian tank. Entertaining guy.

5: Mike Phelan. Didn't exactly get much to work with. Did a decent job with what he had I guess? :emoticon-0138-think Win against Leicester in the first game of the season was a beauty.

Feel like we've been "lucky" with the managers we've got all things considered, haven't disliked any of them. Can't be many clubs around with a similar record? Altho I guess some of you might disagree

You've got Slutsky and Phelan the wrong way around but otherwise I agree.

I think the same. I’d place Silva above Adkins too, the turnaround he precipitated with players that have not gone on to much else was incredible.

same for me but Bruce has an unfair advantage in that list, the only one allowed to spend

5 best since I got interested (1984)
1 Bruce (miss you Steve)
2. Brownie (could have been top but for the over spending and stressing out at the end)
3. Peter Taylor (back to back then abandoned ship for Palace, wtf)
4. Little Bri little (should have had longer)
5. Nick (deserved better)

Didn’t silva have a strike force that cost over 50 million??? They were on loan but hey that’s what he had at his disposal

Are you joking - no place for Nobby . Hang your head with shame .

Silva - sorted out Robertson and Maguire - some great football, brought back some pride to Hull City
Adkins - did a fantastic job once he got going
Phelan - had to deal with the mess left by Bruce
Slutsky - got ****ed over by Ehab

Bruce - spent a fortune in the second season in the Prem and completely ****ed up - not to mention kept picking his ****ing useless son - completely ****ed up Ben Arfa, ****ed up Europe, gave Cairney away, ****ing off on holiday when he should have been focussing on keeping us in the Prem, sided with the Allams on the name change and the protests, constantly belittling little old Hull - best thing Ehab ever did was getting rid of him although if he got rid before the January transfer window instead of carrying on with him when we were in the Prem we would never have been relegated - total waste of oxygen

1 - Silva - the football we played under him is the best I've ever seen from City, he had an almost impossible job on to keep us up and nearly did it.
2 - Bruce - mistakes were made, but he achieved time and again for us
3 - Adkins - could quite easily have been bottom of the list, but the turnaround in form last November onwards was a sight to behold
4 - Slutsky - didn't get as much out of the players as he could, but his teams didn;t half go for it
5 - Phelan - some team selections were just utterly ****, can't be sure but you'd assume he had a hand in us signing Weir and Keane. Ok, he was dealt the biggest Beadle of them all but other than the first 2 games it was abject turd
