Totally agree. Want to see the face of a left wing hypocrite. Look at how many properties the Blair's own.
I found it fascinating that when Stan reposted that 'political spectrum' test a few weeks back, everybody seemed to find themselves to the left of Ghandi in their stated attitudes. If that were really the case though, they wouldn't be voting for political parties whose actions are in complete contradiction of these attitudes.
It's Meghan that the criticism is aimed at, due to her lefty stance and her persuasion of Harry towards it. I have no doubt that there is also a racist element to it.
Perhaps the test is flawed. I think it is, as it always puts me pretty much bang centre of the spectrum, but we all know I have a funny moustache and jackboots.
No no, David Lammy said that the hounding of Meghan Markle and her husband was becoming a witch hunt with xenophobic and racist undertones, so we shouldn't criticise them for these 11 flights. Anyway, like I said, this only proves that the disasterous effects of CO2 damage can be turned around through investment.
It's not necessarily flawed. Perhaps some of the questions relating to the wellbeing of others or the planet as a whole have obvious answers, but that people are much more selfish when it comes to voting for them.
Our efforts are little more than a pimple on an elephant’s bell-end when you look at countries such as China. At least we’ll all feel sanctimonious during the power strikes. https://hitchensblog.mailonsunday.c...coal-fired-power-stations-makes-no-sense.html
There’s a massive ‘point in time’ element to some of the questions too. Complete the Qs immediately after, say, the banking crisis and many that would consider themselves right-leaning would be forgiven for responding in a more left-of-centre fashion. Frankly, I also like to think that there is either a misalignment between actual attitudes and how you’re plotted on the Compass, or those on the ‘right’ are actually more caring than those on the ‘left’ would like us to be (as that doesn’t fit their narrative).
**** me Strolls, that comes across as rather ‘elitist’.....whatever next ? Soon you’ll be defending Prince Andy ‘cos he donates to kids charities
How many people choose not to fly because of the carbon effects? Hardly anybody. How many who do fly, make offsetting charity payments? Not many. Why criticise someone who does? I don't care how 'elite' they are, it seems like the wrong target for criticism.
Not racism, but Hollywood extremely wealthy, precious, hypocritical prima donna-ness. If Harry had married Gwyneth Paltrow, he'd be getting the same criticism. Right now, I wish the pair would **** off to California
I would expect that most that fly, don’t go harping on to the media about how we ALL have to change our ways to save the planet, while doing what the **** we want anyway ‘cos we’re rich.......that’s just hypocritical
Or maybe people can feel better about their own lack of action by pointing at famous people who they deem to be hypocritical.
