When I was at Pompei, I asked the guide if Frattoni Park was anywhere near here?
My dad was in the navy and saw Vesuvius erupting during WW2. Obviously never got to the top of there but made it to the top of Mount Etna when they were in Sicily. Played at was then Napoli’s stadium for the navy against an Italian side in a match supposed to foster friendship but was not exactly played in that spirit.
The sort of person who has curry on haddock doesn’t have the sophisticated tastebuds required to appreciate what City man was eating.

The power of nature is awesome. And frightening. My dad was on his ship in the bay and said it was fascinating to watch the lava, especially at night, slowly but inexorably progressing. Thankfully from a safe distance.
True. Most modern day folk no longer see a volcanic eruption as a pumicement from above.
It's best to be fairly pissed in order to try to cross a road, otherwise you lose your nerve and you'll never leave the pavement.
