Fingy. Would you be so kind as to show a link to the Bank of England saying our economy is on the verge of recession?
Many thanks.
As Goldie says, even the EU loving BBC are saying that Ireland will be devestated by no deal.
Germany is nearer to that imo.

I think the EU will blink, but the EU loving ****s in parliament and liberal dinner party set in London will find a way to never let us leave.
Please leave

admitedly there was no plan on what would happen in the event of a leave vote because the voters wouldnt be stupid enough to vote no
everything was going to carry on as before
but also with an eu army
an eu income tax etc that the remainers knew nothing about

you vote for your local mp
unless the election rules have gone all american on us since i left
They probably will soon!
Tell me more about this EU income tax, I'm intrigued.

So, Carney has been predicting doom and gloom since we voted to leave and has had to consistently admit that his forecasts were wrong.
The other example you give is from a left wing organisation who are opposed to brexit.

There are many out there who predict we'll be fine after a bumpy time initially.

Anyway, whatever.
We'll never agree on Brexit so I'll leave it there as we go round and round in circles .

Nobody voted for any kind of deal.
Binary choice - leave or stay.

Indeed, but to find ourselves facing an outcome that was never even discussed by Leave campaigners is profoundly undemocratic, I would say. Anyone that says they were expecting to leave without a deal when they cast their vote is lying.

A strong correlation with those who have decided that No Deal is just a minor hiccup.

Negative growth in Q2, Col - official figures, not Project Fear.

I'd say that qualifies as being on the verge of recession.

But you were crying about all types of softer Brexit.

I actually said a while back that I'd accept a softer brexit if it was the only way to get it done, due to your mates in Westminster.

Still, don't let the truth get in the way of another immature post eh.

Truths are few and far between Col. I think the stocking up on baked beans was obviously just a joke. Let's hope we dont have to stock up on vital medicines though, that people rely on. Anyway it will all be rosey in about half a century according to the ardent brexiteers.

Yada yada yada.
I'll leave you all to your depressions.
Don't forget to stock up on baked beans!!
I mean that kind of says it all really and in light of cold hard facts about the economy. Almost as if you don't have an answer or can't work an angle to defend your sacred Brexit or dismiss it as Remoaner scaremongering.

Or you could say Col is right and the arguments for and against on here are just going round in circles so what’s the point any more.

Has anyone on this board honestly changed their opinion by reading the other sides posts ?? Anyone ??

I did. Probably not because of the posts on this thread.

No. Not about Brexit. They have only strengthened my hate of it. Of course we are just going round and round in circles, but because many of us feel very strongly about it either way many of us, like Col I guess, do keep coming back, though there is little "point" in it. Maybe I come back less, as the giant f.up gets more and more likely, and it is extremely depressing.

Yeah I get what your saying.
Hopefully we’ll be out on time and this **** can be put to bed finally.
