It’s a shame that we are unlikely to strengthen the team. Had higher hopes for this season but we have more fixtures, front 3 have had no rest and our finals have strengthened.
I get what Klopp is saying in regards to Gomez, AOC, Lallana being like new signings after injury but he must realise that injuries happen every season and we will lose players again. So if any first team players are out we are then down to relying on some of the younger players to fill the gaps. Once again though I'm happy with Brewster and Hoever as cover but other than those 2 there's not a lot. Lets Break it down. Alisson/Adrian TAA/Gomez Matip/Gomez VDD/Lovren Robbo/Hoever Fabinho/Hendo AOC/Wijnaldum Keita/Milner Salah/Shaq Bobby/Brewster Mane/Origi Lallana is also available even though I may wish he wasn't we then are down (anyone I've missed) and kids. It isn't bad but the worry for everyone is 2 of our front 3 out long term leaving Brewster and Origi to cover, it may work but would be a concern. Brewster really does have to be the real deal (no pressure like).
