I get what Klopp is saying in regards to Gomez, AOC, Lallana being like new signings after injury but he must realise that injuries happen every season and we will lose players again. So if any first team players are out we are then down to relying on some of the younger players to fill the gaps. Once again though I'm happy with Brewster and Hoever as cover but other than those 2 there's not a lot. Lets Break it down.

Alisson/Adrian
TAA/Gomez Matip/Gomez VDD/Lovren Robbo/Hoever
Fabinho/Hendo
AOC/Wijnaldum Keita/Milner
Salah/Shaq Bobby/Brewster Mane/Origi

Lallana is also available even though I may wish he wasn't we then are down (anyone I've missed) and kids. It isn't bad but the worry for everyone is 2 of our front 3 out long term leaving Brewster and Origi to cover, it may work but would be a concern. Brewster really does have to be the real deal (no pressure like).

Hoever is a RB so not sure he’d be cover for Robbo. Sounds more like Milner will be used there.

Thats the worry though, midfield and CB are well stocked (sure quality in midfield may need to be improved but we have enough to get by). But given how important Robbo and TAA were last season (double figure assists each) if they were to get injured we wouldn’t have any natural width.

He played LB in one game pre season.

Every team has injuries. Klopp and whoever else that comes out with 'its like having new players' etc. are talking utter ****e.

The reality is we've spent **** all money when you take into account the Suarez and Coutinho fees.

I'm fairly happy with the squad, what annoys me is being treated like ****ing idiots.

We all should just accept that Klopp thinks he has a big enough squad capable of going for honours with a few players back from long injuries, a few playing their 2nd season and hungry unknown talent ready to take a chance this season when it comes.

Id also like to think that because of all the above Klopp/fsg won't be buying anyone the they feel will not better someone in the 1st team. Like a Vvd or Allison.

They could be wrong but I'm quite excited at the thought of watching this team grow rather than added to willy nilly.

Ps.

Tottenham have agreed a fee with Juventus for Paulo Dybala worth £64.4m, according to Sky in Italy.

Personal terms are yet to be agreed between Spurs and Dybala's camp.

It is understood Dybala's image rights will be an obstacle in negotiations for the 25-year-old forward.
