12 rasher of smoked back bacon and brown sauce.

It's already gone I might do another one, I usually buy the cooking bacon packs, cheaper and so much more bacon than buying packs, that's pack bacon in today's hence why it's a bit thinner than usual.

Ain't even touched the sides ffs

Doesn't everyone start out by using cook books? I've got quite a few and use them now and then. A lot of stuff I can do myself now though so don't need them as often. I just find the "he uses cook books/internet" snobbery a bit odd as that's what most people do.
Never had a cook book mate some of us are just blessed with a gift.

Oh right. <laugh>
As I moved to a new ish area recently there's a big lidl close, I've never shopped in there before cos there weren't one near enough.

Anyways the 1st thing I check out is the meat section and I see 1kilo of cooking bacon for £1.50
Its the same price as sainsbury but you get double the bacon. It was really nice and much better than tescos or sainsburys versions.

Also bought some of their sausages the chicken thighs, lamb, beef and a pork shoulder.

The chicken was nice as was the lamb shanks and the shoulder and the diced beef.

The sausages were ****ing rank deffo wont be getting them again.

Lidl is great. I'm a fan. Get the Deluxe sausages next time they're nice.

They do theme weeks, can't wait for the next Italian week.

I wouldn't make white sauce mate. Alls I know is when I've ever had lasagne with white sauce it makes the thing all snotty like. Made with cheese instead and it keeps its structure if that makes sense.
Bechamel sauce/ white sauce/ cheese sauce isn't snotty. Wherever or whatever you've eaten like that is down to a lack of training/understanding.

This is my version of Pastisio (Greek lasagne) Nothing snotty here.
