...and I can correct you further, as Pluto is no longer classified as a planet! It's a dwarf planet.

so now we are after a 5'5'' striker, to be our focal point in one of the most physical leagues in the world. are all these links just a piss take. Basel have released him as he hasn't been able to score in 17 appearances.

    Doesn’t the article say:

“They are expected to be in the market for another forward once the Kalulu deal is completed.”

Is this guy more of a Dan replacement?

I am sure he is showing as a striker not a wide player, but who knows.

Kalulu looks certain to come in, especially as the BBC are running with this one, whether he will be as a winger or striker is anyones guess, for me, he looks to be a winger replacement............<ok>

I hope so but still need to bring in a striker to support Baston or is Kalulu that striker still don't know. This report saying we are signing as a replacement for Mcburnie.

    https://the72.co.uk/141358/swansea-...-in-deal-for-striker-as-mcburnie-replacement/

I see that Nahki Wells has been mentioned as a loan deal from Burnley. quite like that idea, experience at this level and scores a few goals.

Swansea City seal Aldo Kalulu loan move
    37 minutes ago First team
Swansea City is pleased to announce the signing of Aldo Kalulu on a season-long loan from FC Basel, subject to international clearance.

The speedy forward – who has Champions League experience, plus stints in the French and Swiss top-flights under his belt – becomes the fifth signing of the summer for head coach Steve Cooper.

He follows Jake Bidwell, Ben Wilmot, Freddie Woodman and Kristoffer Peterson in making the move to SA1.

The 23-year-old was born in Lyon and came through the ranks with the Ligue 1 club, making his debut against Lille in September 2015 and scoring his first goal later the same month against Bastia.

Kalulu also gained Champions League experience during his time with Les Gones, featuring against Gent and Valencia in that season’s group stage.

He started the following campaign at Lyon before joining Rennes on loan over the second half of the season, and then spent the 2017-18 season at Sochaux.

He enjoyed an excellent campaign in the French second tier, netting 11 goals in 31 league appearances.

His form attracted the interest of Swiss side Basel and he sealed a permanent move to St Jakob Park, making 17 appearances for them last season as they finished second in the Swiss Super League.

Kalulu will now look to showcase his speed and attacking flair in Swansea colours.
