Youve got until September to offload Baston. Think the Spanish window is mid September.

Birch told your fans you didnt need to sell.

I dont think its unreasonable seeing as how hes employed Cooper to now give him the funds to bring in some quality and not young gambles on loan or a cheap winger from Sweden who he worked with years ago.

The next week will show if Birch is taking you all for mugs and just getting as much cash in as possible.

Dai said the crowd will turn on Cooper.

Its not going to be his fault if it goes pear shaped.

Dai doesn’t come along to the Liberty. Most fans can see what’s happening and where the blame actually lies <cheers>

You seem to have latched onto Dai’s pearls of wisdom as if they’re gospel and seem to have an unhealthy interest in us ,closet fan perhaps?

Well our best winger and now striker have gone, big gamble to rely solely on Baston, unless Ayew is going to be used as well, strange times indeed, this season's campaign will be anyone's guess as to it being good or bad........<ok>

No we will bring in another untested 19 year old striker from another average PL club, who Cooper used to babysit for 15 years ago. so we will be ok.

Funny that a post from one of our board is an unhealthy interest, but you visiting our board isnt.
Double standards methinks.

Birch has cut deep but is likely to have balanced the books not only for this season, but possibly next also. That should make you stable as next year is the last of your parachute payments.
Stay mid table this season and it should position you to kick on next.
Kind regards with a respectful interest in our close rivals out west......

Thanks for your interest like I said before you seem to pounce on anything I post . Hope you've got your neck brace oiled up , I have a feeling you're going to need it <laugh>

Got to Blame someone i suppose but Birch has been given overall control and it is him who makes all the decisions. All that money the club have made and we cant afford to invest in the first team is shocking. It is likely we are going to have a tough season and it is no good blaming the yanks as they could have walked away and not give us a second thought and then what would we do? They stayed and brought in Birch to run the club and he dont come cheap and his job is to balance the books, cut our wage bill and bring our debt down....I have a problem with that because unless you replace some of the players with players of experience and not with all young inexperienced players then we will struggle against those teams with experienced players. The team needs to be more balanced and i hope Routledge, Dyer, Ayew and Bel will play a big part this season....And as for making a forward Captain then that is stupid as it takes away the way he plays up front having the responsibility of marshaling his team mates.....A defender is always the best player to captain the club on the pitch as he can see all the players.....My hope is we stay out of the relegation places and somehow survive the season....Every game this season will be a cup final for the team....

No need to feel special matthew, i respond to quite a few posters. Ive posted on the swans board quite regularly the last week or so, but this is the only one to one of your posts.
You seem to have an unhealthy view on my responses to you.:emoticon-0105-wink:

As i said though, there do seem to be double standards with your rules.

No you only appeared on here when you were promoted to the PL offering solace, then as your season went on and the realisation that you're not very good at playing at Premier league football silence descended and we didn't see you, now this season all of a sudden you're back because some bookies put welsh Stoke in the frame for promotion , I see a pattern emerging , don't you .;)

You seem obsessed with my posting pattern bounder. Wrong in your assesment though.
If you read my post i said id posted quite a bit in the last week so dont understand your comment regarding us in the prem.
Also, i posted on the swans board when you were in the prem and we weren't. If you want to go back further i used to post on the swans board on 606, long before not606.
If you want to have a dig, at least get your facts straight.
Im sure if i looked, i could find peaks and troughs in your visits to our board depending on your status and ours, but life is to short and i wont guess or assume.
