The starting XI is something we could have fielded at any point last season. Fahrman, Byram, Roberts and Drmic all on the bench. Is what 18 19 ?

I don't think Farke enjoyed the 4-1 drubbing and will treat this one more seriously. The starting XI is something we could have fielded at any point last season. Fahrman, Byram, Roberts and Drmic all on the bench.
Managing his minutes due to a hip complaint. Presumably making sure he's fit for Anfield.Klose is missing. Injured?
Hanley has played alot to see if he can make the grade as 4th choice and to get his fitness and confidence up.Managing his minutes due to a hip complaint. Presumably making sure he's fit for Anfield.
I think he's played a lot out of necessity! Klose and Zimbo have had injuries at various points, so Hanley has had to play. But yes, it's given Farke the chance to assess him. Presumably he's reasonably happy with what he's seen.Hanley has played alot to see if he can make the grade as 4th choice and to get his fitness and confidence up.
1. ZIMMERS
2. GODFREE
3.KLOSE
4.HANLEY
In my opinion
Godfree and Zimmerman played well together at the tale end of the seasonI think he's played a lot out of necessity! Klose and Zimbo have had injuries at various points, so Hanley has had to play. I think most would agree with that order, it's just whether Farke takes styles into consideration when pairing CBs. Hanley/Zimbo are defensive, stopper CBs, whilst Klose and Godfrey are better on the deck. It's pretty common to play one of each type.
Absolutely, with everyone fit I think that should be first choice. But if Zimmerman is out, do you pair Godfrey with the more similar Klose, or look to maintain the physicality of the defence by including Hanley?Godfree and Zimmerman played well together at the tale end of the season
Lovely ball over the top for McLean, great vision.Cantwell on fire again today.
Bundled it in1-0! Great ball to McLean from Buendia, and he slots home from 25 yards.

Cracking idea, and very close to pulling it off.Lovely ball over the top for McLean, great vision.
Drmic on now..and the physio is on for Buendia. Doesn't look too serious.Pukki can't hit a barn door the past 2 games.![]()
