Currently if we lose one or more of Mané, Firmino and Salah for a long period of time we will never get near 100 points and therefore dont stand a chance in the league
Some players look like they are trying, some look a bit lazy, Origi falls somewhere in between. He never goes full pelt but neither does he just wait around. There's always a bit of an 'oh no' when he comes on, then he does something spectacular. To have been switched on for the Trent corner wasn't just good fortune. So there's something there (can you work on sharpness?) and for me if he can 'stay cool' and produce some more magic, I'm willing to roll with the 'oh no' moments.
Yes I realised after that I should have said I always think oh no. He doesn't fill me with confidence but he's earned a new contract. The Barcelona game will go down as one of our greatest ever and his goal and Trent's corner are the major talking point from that. Not from me there isn't. He is a great option from the bench; pace, direct, score important goals and is different to what the regular trio offer. Game changing substitution imo

The Barcelona game cemented his icon status like Gary Mac's derby goal.True but I was saying it before the Barca game tbf
Liverpool legend reveals the ‘problem’ with Jurgen Klopp’s Divock Origi contract decision
LIVERPOOL legend Steve Nicol insists he does not agree with the decision to pen Divock Origi to a new long-term contract - because the Belgian is not a good enough stand-in for Roberto Firmino.

Nicol pops up a lot and not much of what he says is positive, needs to STFU.
I watch ESPN regularly and they're all into wumming anyway. He rarely goes in for a sensible discussion.
I find it funny how journalists even think to use quotes from an ESPN 'chat show' that's 2 main hosts are Shaka Hislop and Steve Nichol
Its certainly not Nicol just running his mouth, it's the journalists making a story out of nothing!
not heard him say anything positive about us.Nicol pops up a lot and not much of what he says is positive, needs to STFU.

.Origi had three fluke goals he'll never repeat again. He's bang average and not good enough to be in our squad challenging for the title. As much as we love him for our CL run in, it's true. God help us if Bobby picks up an injury and we've got Origi leading the line until Christmas.
Really praying it's just good PR stuff to raise his value so we can 'reluctantly' sell him. Please.
i know what others are saying, yes he has got vital goals, but if we get a bad injury will he have same impact, playing now and again is fine.He is not good enough to be in our squad challenging for the title- What do you call last season then? Without his interventions, we probably end up with less than the 97 points we got to push City
Football players need to play to get momentum so it is kind of unfair to expect him to be switched on when the opportunity to start hardly comes by. @Diego mentioned it the other day, when he said if we can get a striker to feed off TAA and Robbo, we'd be more dangerous. That player is Origi in our current set up.
