Apologies if posted before, but an interesting interview with Pahars. Talks mainly about his time at Southampton and how he never wanted to leave and was willing to play for almost nothing as he wanted to make his testimonial. He refused an offer from another English club as he couldn't imagine playing for another club here. His life has been up and down since then...sadly true for a lot of ex-players. Great player and will always be remembered warmly.
