We're down one left full back with Olsson going and although Naughton can and does play there at least we're replacing him with someone with experience .We may have a gem or may not time will tell but Cooper rates him and at the moment he's in a better position than I to judge
I read on the weekend that Olsson and Fer were training with the club in an effort to improve fitness and to see if they have recovered from their injuries.

If they can prove themselves then I’m open to them being given one year deals, we will hold the cards for a change contractually for a change.

Newish Chairman and new Manager so we start with a fresh outlook. It will be every players chance to prove themselves to Tommy and they should all start with a clean slate. Players tend to react to individual managers differently so i will wait and see how players perform for Tommy during pre-season before judging anyone.

Balls in our court , until the agents get involved

20 million and he'll be gone , and the so called "massive " black hole in the finances will still be there , if only so one could think of something like parachute payment to tide Clubs over when they get relegated from the PL .
The Yanks will want to monetise their assets to ensure that they don’t need to inject any capital themselves, whilst at the same time obviating the need for any personal guarantees.

Yet, the only way to get their money back and potentially make a buck, is promotion to the PL....

Which what 's so frustrating , a bit of daring in the transfer market last year and we could have at least made the playoffs

Walked the Championship last year ...<laugh>
How would you know - you don’t even attend matches <laugh>

If the squad had been kept largely intact until Christmas - Fabianski, Fernandez, Mesa, Ayew, Ki, Mawson.... even Clucas, then we would have had a stronger squad than anyone else.

As it was, even with the kids, we could have reached the play-offs.

You’ve demonstrated over the years that you know far less about football than the vast majority of posters on this site, so do us all a favour - keep quiet, look, listen and even you could learn...... <cheers>
