We are close to signing a RB! ... for the youth team - 18yo Vontae Daley-Campbell who was released by Arsenal. Apparently Adrien Silva isn't part of any deal for Tielemans - he has had no contact from Monaco about joining them even on loan and is due to come back here for pre season.
Monaco want him but wasnt keen on including him in the deal I think its us playing hard ball over Silva because they are over Tielemans
I just hope we haven't thrown all our eggs in one basket. Obviously we all want Tielemans here but should it not happen I hope there are other options we don't know about. Like most not concerned whether Silva goes or stays and fights for a spot.

So its ok if Monaco use Tielemans as a bargaining chip to get Silva? . Seems like the best move for both parties from the outside, giving both regular football.
Yet BigFox said we'd not included him in a deal. I'd actually rather they were separate, that way if there's any problem the whole thing doesn't collapse. In reality, I don't care how we do it as long as we sign Tielemans.
True enough but some of those continue to be right backs when we now have at least three. All clubs will be the same with agents pushing their players. How many of those 55 are creative midfielders? Virtually none.
TBH we only really have 2 RBs - imo Amartey should be playing as a CB or DM. I remember an interview with Ian Holloway where he was talking about how he asked every member of his Leicester squad what their favoured position was and so many of them said RB that he considered changing our name to Right Back City. As for creative midfielders- if I'm honest I have never heard of most of them on the list so couldn't help you there.
Amartey is great to have on the bench as he can cover RB, CB and CM. Allows us to have more attacking players on there Amartey has signed a new contract recently but doesnt seem to fit in anywhere anymore. I think Choudhury is a better CM then Amartey and with Justin signing Amartey isnt going to get much of a looking in there either
