I’d rather see a quality midfielder come in. I still believe we have the players to score the goals. Feed the beast that is Zohore and he will score. There are a number of players that can work with the big man.
Midfield is the priority, in my humble opinion.

I'm with you taff, if Colin can find the right combination we could worry opposition defences. Ken up front with Murphy, Reid and NML across the field behind him and we should see a few goals. Vaulks an ralls behind them? Or do we need another play maker?
Add hoilett to the mix, and do you risk Tomlin as an alternative 10, and you're short a squad centre mid, wide man and striker.
If that's the case madine definitely, and probably ward and Healy need to be moved on.

We've lost 4 of last year's squad and only brought 1 replacement in. The other 2 so far are in positions of depth.
A keeper and CB to go, probably Connolly in addition and the 3 above means another 6 to go. Add those to the 5 (forgot about niasse) already gone and it's 11 out and 6 in.
Seems to balance the size of the squad.
 
Looks useful and knows where the back of the net is albeit not at the highest standard. Very good goals per game ratio overall.

Looks like we bid for him in January before we moved on to Sala.

Worth watching how this progresses.

it says hes a winger. Goal tally even more impressive if that is the case.

Good to have something to discuss.

Just to keep you up to date Remote, Grujic has gone back to Hertha Berlin on loan for another season.£2m loan fee plus £500k in potential bonuses. Hertha pay his wages and a penalty structure against lack of game time. All told between £4m and £5m for one season.

They're welcome to him at that price.
We could buy a CM or two for that.
 
Dalman has walked away from talks with Douchebag at Charlton. It appears the price went up from £33m to £50m and out of the blue came "debenture holders" of £7m who wanted paying off in addition to the Douchebag amount.

Whats the news on Cameron Coxe?
I believe his contract is up, but he is training with the 1st team squad (warnock mentioned him in his injury update).
Hope he gets tied up for a few years. Read decent things about him.
Colin preferring tried and trusted works against him though.
