It says signing decent quality players from RFC is no bad thing. Kelly, Wallace and Holt should improve your team if what I've read on this thread is anything to go by.

As for the old firm being Championship teams. That's bullpoop. Both would be lower/mid table premiership clubs at the moment.

Don't disagree that these signings are good for our club, we're a struggling Championship team with heavy financial constraints, and need players that the new manager can trust - these obviously fit the bill, and I look forward to seeing how they integrate into the squad.

Top 6 in the Championship is a similar standard to lower Prem. Both Old Firm teams would struggle in the Prem with their current squads, with at least one of them ending up in the drop zone. The standard of the lower teams in the Prem are way above the level of SPL mainly due to the huge amounts of money they receive, and then invest in their squads. If those levels of investment were available to Rangers and Celtic, then they would definately be able to compete at the mid level of the Prem, but you can forget any chance of European football and the cloaed shop that is the Champions League.

It's all pie-in-the-sky anyway, far more likely that the European league with the Dutch, Belgian and Nordic teams that has been discussed becomes reality, and you would be far more competetive in that competition.

I don’t think rangers would survive in the championship as they are now, they and Celtic have the infrastructure to grow and in 5 years could become mid table prem teams. Celtic as they are now would be about as good as qpr, would survive but only just in the championship. The rest of the Scottish prem would float around the lower leagues. The rest wouldn’t survive on leagues 5 and 6, just my opinion
Do you watch a lot of Scottish football. It's just I cant really figure out what you are basing this on.

Delusions of grandeur and mental deficiency is my best guess.

Rangers wouldn't survive in the Championship! So you think your team is superior to the current Glasgow Rangers side. Is that what you are saying here?

So QPR last season could have went through 4 qualifying rounds, go to places like Russia and Croatia and knock out teams from the top of those countries top leagues and qualify for the group stages on the Europa league?

Is that really what you are saying?

Rangers played Wigan at Ibrox last season and hammered them 3-0. It could have been 6-0. How did you do against them?

Aberdeen played Burnley in the EL. They were unlucky not to beat them at Pittodrie and took them to extra time down there. Aberdeen were a very poor side last season. Rangers and Celtic are far superior sides.

You know I came on here to share my thoughts on the players your club have signed. These thoughts are based on fact. You come back with stuff like that based on nothing more than your overblown, unrealistic, delusional, little Englandur sense of superiority. Its embarrassing stuff tbh.

I think your main worry this season should be Warburton. If he continues to be as rigid as he's been in the past he will be found out pretty quick. I hope not though because I would like to see you do well.

Despite the fact some of your fans are dafties.

We're all dafties - that's why we support QPR <laugh>

Thank you for sharing your opinions, you are welcome here, but why slip to name calling. Its always good to get other perspectives.

Yes I think the standard of championship football in England is better than the Scottish Prem.

How good are Rangers these days, they beat Wigan at ibrox, enjoy your day in the sunshine.

What you think has no basis in fact and little in common with reality. My days in the sun will be spent watching my team playing Europe. Hopefully at the same standard as last season.

How about you?

Guys, ALDO4.1 came on here in good faith to give us an honest opinion re the players we had signed. He made no negative remarks about QPR and was polite.

Somehow, we've managed to insult his team, the league they play in and the general standard of Scottish football.

Whilst there may be a debate to be had, it just seems plain rude to now be insulting the fella!

I hope we are better than that.

Over and out.

QPR reject offer from Sheffield United for Freeman

QPR have rejected an offer from Sheffield United for Luke Freeman.

The promoted Blades were looking to buy Freeman, 27, for around £4m and have been told he would cost significantly more.

United and Middlesbrough had offers for Freeman rejected last summer and he has since extended his contract at Loftus Road.

Recently-appointed QPR boss Mark Warburton is keen for him to stay and does not regard Freeman’s departure as inevitable.

Meanwhile, Warburton is hoping to secure the loan signings of at least two youngsters on loan from Premier League clubs in the next week or so.

Good news!

I am very pleased that there seems to be no release clause for a low figure (such as 4 mil) to a Premiership club.

I still expect Freeman to go, and good luck to him, but for a fair market value. It needs to be a "win-win" deal.

I'm hoping he at least stays until January, when I guess his sale proceeds could still be a part of this season's FFP calc.

QPR keeper heading for Hull City move

Matt Ingram is on course to join Hull City from QPR.

Rangers are looking to sell the goalkeeper, who has fallen down the pecking order at Loftus Road following the recent signing of Liam Kelly.

And a deal is being discussed for Ingram, 25, to join the Tigers.

Signed from Wycombe in 2016, Ingram had to wait for a run in the QPR side before being installed as number one following last year’s sale of Alex Smithies to Cardiff City.

He performed poorly and was replaced by Joe Lumley, who made 46 appearances last season and will compete for a place with Kelly.
