Its also the league cup fixtures being drawn tomorrow. We are number 34 in the Northern section.

This is awful. I look at those fixtures and other than Portsmouth away I cant see a hard game. We should walk this league this season.

    Dont tempt fate.

Ipswich will be up there this season and theres always an underdog in the mix like Luton were last season.
We struggled against Fleetwood last season and i expect Barton to have them stronger next season aswell.

I agree with Drum. Them fixtures look terrible as in I don't see any hard games. It shows how far we've dropped because they'll think the same about us. With a few signings we should storm the league if JR decides to be more adventurous.

Oh I know mate. That's why I felt awful writing it. Compare this league though with the championship, worlds apart.

That would be whole different thing I’d imagine mate, there’s always the human element.

Sky let you recontract at any time anyway, so you can start a new contract and change etc, but everyone used to switch, I do year mine year other half so they have things in place.

Sky don’t make a penny on a new 18 month contract until month 15, it’s crazy.

Delighted with a home game, and I’m glad we’ve got quite a tough start for the league.

A good start will really set us up nicely.

I think it'll be tougher. More teams will follow Wycombes lead. Having said that, I think Ross will have learnt and will deal with it, so harder, but I think we'll still do it.

Anyone know when the TV game faffing around is done by? I've had a look and see it was 28 June last year, but there's ****-all on the EFL site about this year yet.

I was just about to get booked up to come back for the Pompey & Rochdale games, as flight prices are reasonable, when it clicked with me that us v Pompey could be a shout for a TV game.

Thanks RTB. I'll hang on for a week or so and hope August flight prices don't go up too much!

It looks like Hull have made a formal approach to speak with the Doncaster manager.

Adkins will make someone a good manager, apparently he walked and wasn't sacked.
