Offloading Rafael Camacho to Sporting CP could grease the wheels in Liverpool’s pursuit of midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to Correio da Man The newspaper claims that Liverpool have tabled a bid worth £40million for the 24-year-old, who has also attracted attention from Manchester United, Tottenham, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan It is understood that Sporting CP want £62.2million for the former Sampdoria midfielder but Liverpool seem to have an edge on their rivals in the hunt for a deal as a switch to Lisbon for 19-year-old Camacho could be advantageous Correio da Manhã adds to their report that “the next few days will be decisive”. Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards is not willing to authorise the sale of Divock Origi despite the player only having one year remaining on his contract. The 24-year-old is reportedly in talks with the club over a new deal but all parties are reportedly comfortable with the current state of negotiations. Liverpool won’t even consider selling Origi even if it means losing him on a free next summer, ESPN FC claims.
This all makes sense, if he plays well then he'll be getting play time and happy to sign if he doesn't play well then he's not worth a huge sum of money so keep his wages as they are and see how it goes.
ll or from players perspective he can look and see the opportunity in August for games at lfc and see where he is at.
Yeah I agree, chucking money and a new contract at him would be silly at this point. He'll always be a Liverpool legend but he may not be good enough for the long term.
yes but at the same time he should be reliable for 15-25mil if he was under contract same as ojo, Wilson etc etc. the club attitude should be to protect an asset at minimum. the players attitude is to get best deal and playing opportunity for long term gain. if both align then fine. if not I read it as klopp wants origi next year and is quite happy for him to walk thereafter.
I don't fancy Mbappe because he said he wants to step into Gerard shoes .Anyone who said that in the past has failed.
Given he's a striker and gerrard was a midfielder it clearly doesn't show a lot of footballing knowledge on his part.
Bayern Munich don't want Timo Werner this summer Bayern Munich are reportedly prioritising Leroy Sane this summer, and will only move for rumoured Liverpool target Timo Werner if they fail to land the Manchester City winger. The Reds have been linked with the striker for well over a year now, with the Germany international adamant he won’t extend his contract with RB Leipzig. With one year left on his deal, the Bundesliga side would prefer to sell this summer and Bayern Munich had been expected to land his signature.
Am i the only one who isn't that sold on Werner ? I'm just not convinced by him though i may be being swayed by my views on the quality of the Bundeslegia in the last few years.
