Nope. Frenchie has come very close to the answer on the original question but I made a mistake with the Queensryche song.

The musicians are not the same. Nor are the songs... however....

Nope. The songs are all original, and they've all charted (usually minorly) but for Quo and The Cult, at least, they are fans favourites....

Bob Dylan, Travis, Prince and the originally mentioned Queensrÿche are not quite connected... nearly but no....

Gene Kelly is also excluded... as are Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid... and The Grateful Dead... and the Eurithmics.... and Creedence (fans of Dexter should know why) and Led Zep..... none of these make the cut.
