Sparks, Bournemouth's game had evolved and possibly Arter was no longer the fit he once was. But 232 games for Cherries and 29 goals showed Howe took his time in getting rid of him. <whistle> The fans there still loved him.

Yes, Victor was probably a thought ahead of most of our team but haven't we cried out for a mf with some imagination for years?

I have given my opinion many times on Reid and Murphy but expect them to do much better in the Championship. Possibly their level?

Agree about the Championship being a different proposition, but maybe Prem wasn't beyond their level and style of play - for sure it's too late to find out now.

Could be just our manager preferred not to use them because they didn't fit in his plan A of grunt and graft?

I know it was the last game of the season at Old Trafford, but it shows how a different approach to a game can get its' rewards.

The plain fact is we'll never know about last season, but what a challenge it would be if we did get back up and they were instrumental in doing so. <ok>

Don't want to read too much into this guys, but you never know.

Gareth Bale was at Southerndown Golf Course last weekend and Warnock lives about half a mile away in Ogmore.....<whistle>
Player manager after Warnock packs in at the end of the season.<cheers>

Not surprised at Kadeem being released. Can only assume that others retained still have time on their contracts.

We must be open to offers for the likes of Connolly, Bogle, Madine, Tomlin, Damour etc with squad totalling 24. Need to make space for new blood.

Also hope we keep Coxe.

Donald Trump owns a golf course in Ireland, but he doesn't live there. Just saying.......

Well, we've all said we need a striker. Not sure if he's a free agent, but he won't cost that much anyway compared to European players of his type.

Think we need to start thinking along these lines to keep costs realistic.

I still believe we will see more from our existing strikers if we utilise our attacking play ers better (Murphy/ reid) and get our midfield recruitment right!
