7 minutes ? (I don't have a video feed, what did I miss ?).

2 var episodes. (1) lingard scores, but was it offside? borderline, so it takes ages, and apparently was off. (2) dutch shot hits england player's back but they reckon it hit his arm and was a penalty. it wasn't.

When I played football there were 21 divisions in the Hull Sunday Football League.
It was famously the biggest Sunday Football League in Europe.
I don't think I would be lying to say I played in everyone of them.
I also don't think I would be be lying to say I never in all my years in the Hull Sunday Football League saw worse defending than Englands performance tonight.
Add to that the fact that Rashford touched the ball three times in the first half, Sancho possibly twice more, Sterling reverted to type, and our midfield conceded the midfield altogether.
It was a complete capitulation.
It matters to me. I care. I'm gutted.

It wasn’t apparently offside, it was offside.

VAR has been proved time and time again as utter bollocks. No system is infallible, leave it the incompetents on the pitch rather than waste time with the incompetents off it.

I'd go along with that, certain England didn't deserve anything from the game IMO, but how often have we seen the best side lose, so without the mistakes who knows what would have happened.
I don't understand how we have had this many decades with an inability to hold onto the ball !

What did Gareth have to say?

My guess would be something about played a lot of games, long season, tired out.

“It was an incredible evening with all of the twists and turns of the match,” he said. “I think we have learned so much in terms of playing against a top-quality team that posed us different problems to what we have faced in the past.

“We posed a threat in the game but we have conceded really poor goals. We had opportunities to score but we haven’t taken them.

“At 85 minutes, you think you have scored to put you into a great position to go through, but with that being disallowed and then conceding the second really deflated the team.”

They don't seem to have learned very much from what I saw !
