Last year when Muir appeared at the playoffs there were champagne corks popping and trebles all round, not to mention an out break of mass hysteria. This year Muir appears and everybody (with one or two exceptions) yawns and forgets all about it.

We heard the same 12 months ago and now it's a case of we won't get fooled again!

Whoever is responsible for the fake news about takeovers is a shrewd judge of character. They know which people will swallow the bait.
White categorically stated that we will be sold next Monday or Tuesday.

On that note I bought train tickets to go to Birmingham as we were playing Shrewsbury the first game after the sale. I ended up at f****** Stourbridge!

The geezer owes me £100<yikes>

One of my Charlton Twitter pals saw Patrick Bauer in the barbers yesterday (some of you will have seen the pic he Tweeted)

He asked the BFG whether he would be signing that new contract to stay at Charlton, Bauer replies that he loved our club.

One imagines that Bauer and his agent are weighing up a range of offers.

Interesting comments from Dr Kish that the BFG's wife had a baby last month and that the German is happy in Chislehurst and doesn't really want to move... our training ground is no more than a 10 minute drive from Chislehurst so handy if there are any issues at home.

The feeling is that he will probably sign the new deal.

Hypothetically- wouldn’t you take £12,000 a week to live in Blackburn rather than £6000 a week to live in Chiselhurst ? Most would.
