    One thought about Fosu.

We are giving him a contract so that we can then receive a fee for him.

What happens if he signs the contract & then no other club wants to buy him.

We’ve wasted scarce resources and are stuck with a player who was useless in League 1.

    Strange.

His absence from the squad (at the end of the season) may suggest he has been on trial somewhere else ?... perhaps we know he is wanted by another club?

Thinking about it overnight, I see no possibility of either Aribo or Bauer staying.

No Ambition Apologists on ITTV like Bert Jeddez are saying “that’s football” and “it happens at every club”.

This was an all expenses trip paid for by Dushitelet for going up.

On the other hand, the statements from Bowyer yesterday do not hint at a manager who thinks he may have to look at other offers - it sounds like someone who is planning for next season knowing full well the gig is his.
You may agree or disagree about the reléase list. I personally would have done a different one. But this sounds like a management team decisión, and given their work last season, I'd give them credit for taking the right path. A big thanks to all the players who did so much to get us up- unlike other seasons we really didn't have anyone who you could accuse of 'stealing a wage' - and I would asume after that cull, BowJack have their eyes on the players they need, and seem to be moving fast.

But for me, that was a calming moment yesterday, and I think we can all chill out. Bauer and Arribo may well not sign up again, but we seem to be keeping our management team, and right now, that's the start to summer we all wanted.

    It’s not what I want.

I want that Belgian prick & his entourage out of our football club. Not offering Williams £10,000 a week isn’t a good sign. Nor is Bowyer saying his budget is small. The Championship is going to be far harder than League One.

We'll do well to keep out of the bottom six all season.

Agreed, but after the rumours that a deal was 'nearer than ever' evaporate like their predecessors, let's bear in mind a lot of us were worrying we were about to see RD do another 'Bob Peeters' special, and offload a popular manager to pointlessly replace him with a worse one. If that hasn't happened, we've gone forward not back. If not what were all those posts about not buying a season ticket if Bowyer left all about?

You'll have to ask @DickPlumb on that one.

A very strange comment when he comes out with him supporting the team cobblers<doh>

Let me put it this way, at work as a management team we normally plan for the worst case scenario, if it turns out better then all well and good but if it does turn out to be the worst case scenario then we are prepared. Bow and his team are probably working on the Belgians budget... if we are taken over and more funds are available then all well and good... if the Belgian is still around then Bow and the boys are still good.

It all about being in a good place <ok>

It can't be. To get a development fee for him you need to offer the same money or more.

True I imagine. But for all those worrying, do you all think Bowyer has lost it since sunday and decided to sign players he knows are rubbish?

I think Bowyer should tell the Belgian to f*** off and go somewhere he's appreciated.

This is a sensible move. I hope that RD gives the money we get for Fosu to go into the pot to bring in new players.

Just handed nearly £600 to the club, two STs for next season, it’s all for Lee Bowyer and the great job he’s done - hope my money swells his kitty.
