Harsh on Williams unless he has been injury prone again this season......can't be bothered to look

Although Long looks like a solid choice to fill the GK slot likely to be vacated by Marshall I'd like to see Jakupovich, who has stated he'd love to come back, signed as his back up along with Mannion. Also if Elphick has recovered from his ankle injury he would be a great signing to provide depth at CH for the injury prone Burke and De Wijs, as well as filling the captains spot.

Rumours from Alan Nixon, we are interested in Brentford's keeper Luke Daniels, only played 13 games for them over the past 2 seasons. He joined them from Scunny on a free transfer. I hope we are in for Scunny's Josh Morris available on a free transfer, looks a decent player who could step up to the Championship.

May as well just give Long or Mannion a go, otherwise, why have we bothered signing so many young keepers (Burton too) if we aren’t going to use them?

Long needs a run of games to build up his confidence, but he needs experienced another experienced keeper to provide some competition. Mannion is only young and has played 17 games for Aldershot on loan in the National League, he needs to be loaned out again this year and to play a full season to get some quality game time under his belt.

Burton’s done one anyway, so as it stands we’ve only two senior keepers, neither of which are that senior.
