It was a money move pure and simple
Can’t understand any black player going there Mind.
Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Very true, money was the motivator, but believe me, Moscow is not a nice place whatever colour you are, but as you say particularly black players.

I actually got the feeling he did enjoy living in the East Riding.

It seems that he's quite enjoyed his time in Moscow, but his fitness levels have let himself and CSKA down. It's the first time CSKA have not qualified for the Champions League in 9 years and although they've lost a lot of experience in defence, they expected Abel to do more.

Well, maybe things have changed since I was last there, but I guess if you earn the money he does, then that can mask what life there is really like.

George Long looks a decent keeper with good distribution. Not sure there is a place for Jakupovic at City anymore.

Maybe he would be a bit expensive as a possible number 1 or 2. If Marshall doesn't sign, which it looks as if he won't. Then can Mannion step up to be number 2 or do we need a more experienced number 2? IMO I would give Mannion a chance, he has had first team experience at Aldershot, so I would give him a go on the bench.

Elphick is a free agent next month he will cost nothing except a decent salary he will not form part of any possible transfer of Bowen to Villa.
I think Tommy would love to come back as our Captain next season but he would have to take a massive pay cut to fit the Allam's wage budget

Seen on Twitter HDM saying we've reportedly missed out on Norwood from Tranmere - beaten to his signature by Ipswich.
