This time it is different because there was none of the usual carry on. Given it’s not even transfer window time to. There is just no logical reason for any of this to come out unless it is genuine.

I do however believe Ashley could in fact push for more or move the goalposts. Hopefully it will all be confirmed in the next couple of days. Save us all a lot of hassle.

Nothing really but I suppose owners always have a responsibility to only report on things once they're complete otherwise it comes back to bite you on the arse. On the flipside I suppose he did comment on the Staveley stuff and raised concerns privately if a deal could be achieved as he thought they were chancers. He and the club have said precisely **** all since the news broke so maybe it is something he has agreed. Whatever you'd like him to do or what a normal owner would do, just expect the opposite with Ashley is my theory.

I firmly believe he will sell up this time if the offer is genuine. I can't imagine he is ever gonna get another offer like this - £350m all upfront on the table to walk away and spunk in Aspers. He'll know whether or not Rafa is likely to stay more than we do, and he'll know fine well how much money Rafa, or his replacement is likely to get in the transfer window. None of that guarantees Premier League safety next season. Without Rafa the club isn't worth £350m, in the Championship with or without Rafa the club definitely isn't worth £350m. Like I said, the offer is genuine and it's there I firmly believe he's gonna take it.

Stop disbelieving the believers people, this is happening. We're gonna be rich. This time next year Rodders we'll be ****ing Billionaire's.

I've just had my contact Dave on from the club. Its been confirmed by George Cauklin too. The deal is on. All going ahead. Pep Guardiola will have one more season at Man C before moving onto Newcastle. Rafa will become DOF. Klopp is going to be Pep's assistant. John Carver is coming back to. Chief Bib Collector.

April 17th would make sense in that MA publicly stated (after the Kenyon attempt fell through) that proof of funds would need to be seen BEFORE a bidding party would be allowed to look through the books and conduct due diligence.

If that's true then I'm not too worried. Ashley has always said he will only sell to the right buyer who can take the club forward.
