Which two in there for you MBC ?Interesting how the OP tried opening a can of worms then had it slammed shut again and hasn't replied once to the thread that he created!

Depends whether you round it up or down I think. Both are quoted as 75yds wide which is 68.58m. Wembley says its 69m, SoL says its 68m. Sounds to me like Wembley is just insecure...I expect Jack will start Leadbitter and Catts together at DM. I was getting nervous about their lack of pace and the so-called larger pitch. So I Googled the pitch size at Wembley and at the SOL. In yards, SOL is reported larger, by one, but in meters they are reported the same. Is wikipedia/Google full of ****?
You’ve always held a chip about Cattermole mind. As long as I’ve seen you on here you’ve been anti Cattermole. His passing is far better than you’ve ever given him credit for. Sad thing is he can play 7 or 8 quality passes in a game then one poor ball. The first tweet or comment on here from the anti Catts brigade will be about his poor pass.Has he, really ?, he cant play football for me, and his passing is like his tackling, rash, I know some people think every Ref in the country has it in for him, but that is just bollocks, and before I am accused, I am not a wum or a Geordie in disguise. Having said that he plays for me as well, as does Honeyman, Power and Leadbitter, the choice I cant decide on is who should play alongside Wyke and I would go probably with McGeady over Maguire, Gooch or Morgan but only if he is fit enough to last 60 minutes. I am still unconvinced with Grigg, even though I think we have yet to see the best of him, at least I hope we haven't.![]()

He's ok, not great and I think very over rated by the Pro Cattermole lads . He always gets my full support when the whistle blows but he's never been a M'Villa or Kirchoff. Just a journey man to me.You’ve always held a chip about Cattermole mind. As long as I’ve seen you on here you’ve been anti Cattermole. Cattermole, Honeyman, Leadbitter and Power?
What positions would they play in?
Fair enough. I think that would leave us narrow on a big pitch and their wide men could exploit that.In a diamond, with George in front of Power and Leadbitter.
Now that’s a yardstick. Best CM pairing in my lifetime. He’s certainly not one of them but he is better than the anti brigade give him credit for. He's ok, not great and I think very over rated by the Pro Cattermole lads . A diamond , have we played that yet this season ?In a diamond, with George in front of Power and Leadbitter.[/QUOTE
Either way, if he plays I hope he has a great game, we'll never agree about him. Hope you and yours have a great weekend and we get a resultNow that’s a yardstick. Best CM pairing in my lifetime. He’s certainly not one of them but he is better than the anti brigade give him credit for.
Got to remember he’s had so much stick over the years from everywhere yet the only players to dislodge him when fit are those you mentioned. 2 near world class players. Every other manager has played him. Sam played him when one of them wasn’t available.

Dave Watson/Ritchie Pitt? Pity it didn't last...Stefan Schwartz and Gavin McCann takes some beating.
DIdn;t think McCann was a great player but Schwarz was - still think M'Vila and Kirchhoff were better as a CM pairingStefan Schwartz and Gavin McCann takes some beating.

Nope! Strange to hear that @clockstander - it's either absolute genius or pure madness to try something completely brand new for the biggest game of the season? If it works (not that I thik we will play it), absolute genius. If it doesn't, pure madness!!A diamond , have we played that yet this season ?
I thought McCann was decent but wouldn't call him a top player - I would with M'Vila and Kirchhoff - both top players with Allardyce IMO. Either way I rate them both higher than Catts which was the argument put forward!I rated McCann highly. Mvilla was very good for us. I dont rave about him as much as most SAFC fans though. He was good but we've had better. Id have had Claudio Reyna over him
