Sorry diesel cars, is what I'm referring yo.

It's inevitable tax will make it unaffordable

Diesel is what I'm looking at mainly. Petrol are high tax and less economical (although 20p less per litre somewhat balances that out).

Looking at dropping down in engine size too so that helps

Does anyone actually know the legitemecy of all these ****ing taxes. I always thought road tax was to keep the roads maintained?

Explains the ****ing potholes everywhere!!

you having a laugh or what .
All (Govt) taxes just go into a central pot and are spent along with the extra they borrow. There is no hypothecation of tax in the UK coffers.

I clicked on the three dots, it says collections, get help and feedback. How is any of that c&p?

Well, I'm in A&E got a broken arm & leg and a few cuts an bruises.
Today is not a good day. I woke up and decided to go horse riding. Something I have wanted to do for a few years and It turned out to be a big mistake! So I got on the horse and we started off slowly, grew in confidence, went a little faster, before I knew it, we were going fast. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, caught my foot in the stirrup with the horse dragging me behind. It just wouldn't stop!!
Thankfully the manager at Tesco came out and unplugged the machine.

It's an emissions tax based on how much, or how little, CO2 your vehicle produces. Vehicle Excise Duty is the correct name.

The idea of 'road tax' is a misnomer as it's got nothing to do with roads or the upkeep of them.
