Take your point but there can't be too many strikers around who'll stay fit for 40-odd games a season, and to be fair to FC he's turned out 33 times this season, 36 last (courtesy of wiki so might not be totally accurate).
How many times had to be taken off after about an hour, how many times had to be subbed injured or as a precaution, and how many as cameo sub? Good player, committed, good attitude, etc but unfortunately can't be counted on. We seem to have had too many same, similar or worse. Nige made a valid, pretty obvious observation. I like FC a lot, but ..

He's started 26 games, playing an average of 77 minutes in each, though that's swayed a bit by a slow start (in the first half of the season he played 73 minutes per game, but in the second half of the season, he's average 81 minutes - and that includes two games where he came off injured after about half an hour).

He came on as a sub on 87 minutes in one game, the other six sub appearances he came on around the hour mark.

He's made a brilliant contribution this season and should have even better stats had Adkins not picked Martin ahead of him earlier in the season.

Injury wise, he's been managed superbly - I think it helps that NA qualified and worked as a physio for quite awhile before getting into the coaching side of the game.

Campbell has been in the best shape of his career this season in my opinion. Some players are just well suited to certain clubs and his best club spells in front of goal have probably both been with us.

Club agreed deal to sign Hull City player on Wednesday night, club president gives details
By Lucas Sposito -

Brazilian side Santos reportedly came close to signing Evandro Goebel from Hull City on Wednesday.

As reported by Gazeta Esportiva, the move only didn’t happen because the clubs didn’t find time to complete it, since the Brazilian window for international transfers closed last night.

The website says that Evandro had been offered a while ago, and although he sounded too expensive, things started moving on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old, whose contract with Hull City expires at the end of the season, would have an agreement to leave the Tigers now. And although Santos accepted his demands by 6PM, there wasn’t time for the transfer, since Brazil currently has a time difference of four hours to England.
