My target for the summer is fairly simple (without wishing to jump the gun, we have not finished yet), get all of the fringe big earners off the books so Ralph's day job becomes easier and more enjoyable.
And this is where having a proper manager like Ralph comes in - rather than a mis-manager like Redknapp, who squanders clubs money, tries buying his way out of trouble, then leaves a mess - and then the board gets blamed for giving him the money. I`m confident that the players he brings in will be good value, and fit the `Saints Way` - no more Carillo, Osvaldo, Hoedt, types. He`ll move on who he doesn`t want and we`ll have a properly sized and balanced squad. And it helps having proper captain who leads by example - thanks PEH!

Watford - Fulham
Wolves - Utd

From tonight's games I'd like Fulham to sneak a win against Watford to 'keep the dream alive', and in the other game I'd prefer Utd to grab all three. I'm kinda enjoying the top four fight, and Spurs look like they are swamped in the chasing pack. Also, we have Wolves up after Fridays game, and they look a little preoccupied. Its time we started taking points from these upstart newbies.

Did I make tonight seem more exciting than it is? I hope so! <laugh>

for starters should save a large wodge...

still not convinced that Mario is in Ralph's plans, but we'll wait and see on that.

Whilst many share your view, how many are actually out of contract at the end of the season? These players signed in good faith, unfortunately it hasn't worked out for them yet,, it may do in Mo El's case. And it is no use expecting a decent fee for guys who are not going to be in demand at clubs at our level in the PL or in Europe. So the conundrum is "how to move on expensive salaried players no longer wanted"

Ideally, a club will emerge with Harry Redknapp as manager and Les Reed Director of Football.

I'm still hoping Spurs drop out as I've got a repeat bet from last season with a Spud on here.

Lovely goal from Wolves. They've got a cracking side, its amazing what you can do when you have the biggest agent in the world pulling strings behind the scenes.
Yeah, until all their best players leave and get that agent a massive payday.

This.

Its going to be a very interesting summer. I said this to a Wolves fan last year but I hope I'm wrong. If the top 6 come circling and start dismantling the threat with their chequebooks it will be telling.

Think this will happen to Fulham too. I am surprised they didn't do better this season as they seemed to have an exciting team coming up.

Wolves will have to fend off a lot of interest. It will be very interesting to see what happens.
They seem a little like the red arrows, very complimented by the technical shape & team comaraderie .
Just imagine if someone got the gaffer in the early stages of the window, it would be just like what happened to us in 2014. <yikes>

Fulham spent that £100 million after getting promoted, but not in the right way. I hope there are relegation clauses in all those new contracts.
As indeed I hope there are for us if the worst happens (but I'm confident not this year).
