I’ll be honest, even if their winning the title is financially beneficial to us, I would still much rather they didn’t.

Well, they paid us 34M rising to 38M for Mane, and I've not heard that anything has been triggered. Add to that the possibility from the VvD deal, and its not peanuts. I dislike Pool as much as the next Saint, but we have to pay them 20M for a 18 games a season striker, we need money. This summer is going to be tough.
Them winning it would be awful, but if it helped us recruit just one player, I could live with it.

It's not just about them winning it though, it's about us being the ones to deliver the hammer blow.

Part of me wants them to play City in the final with City already having the domestic treble just to see squirming United fans have to pick between the quad and number 6.

Bit risky though, probably best they get utterly bludgeoned by Porto.

No, I want City to bludgeon them in the final. Alisson letting a few shots through his hands would also be fun.

You Will have to remain gobsmacked garysfc!!!! I doget emotional and bled red duing the promotion seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12, but regarding SFC´s position and points ahead of Cardiff, I not going to go overboard in my excitement. Now if it was a Cup Final against Liverpool that would be a completely different matter.
