Think this will happen to Fulham too. I am surprised they didn't do better this season as they seemed to have an exciting team coming up.

Yep. I'm more interested to see whether Wolves suffer the 'Liverpool Treatment'. The treatment we got once we were able to threaten top6 dominance. Their biggest weapon is the ability to dismantle teams they cant beat on the pitch.

Having matured a bit since and witnessed the club failing in lots of regards I'm not so convinced that we weren't the architects of our own downfall. If the same thing Happens to Wolves though,....

Actually, I'm undecided about the root cause of our dismantling as I don't think it would have happened had cortese remained at the helm. I think Reed was responsible for selling off our talent. Whether Cortese could have held on to them in the face of Liverpool dry humping them at the World Cup I don't really know.

I wonder whether we will go for Sessegnon in the summer as we were linked with him before. I haven't really watched Fulham at all...does anyone know if he has had a decent season as it was his first in the Prem?

This was all part of Wolves' plan I suspect. Get a load of Mendes' players to Wolves for relatively cheap fees when they are in the Championship, get them promoted which massively increses the clubs value making the owners a fair bit of cash. Players play a season in the PL to prove they can cut it at that level then sell the players to the bigger PL teams for a far higher fee than if they were coming from abroad as Wolves will have PL money backing them up so can demand more and the players have proven they can play in the PL.

It is basically our model, except instead of a recruitment team they have an agent, if they lose a few of these players he will have another wave of his clients waiting to come over to replace them. Pretty good plan I'd say

I think that Shane offers something different to the overall squad, whereas Mario is an expensive luxury in an area that we are pretty well stocked.

A pre-season with Ralph and I don’t think Mario would be a luxury... he’d be a good asset.

Also, isn’t Shane 32? His offer is going to get less and less.

I've got nothing against the lad but I think i'd rather see how Callum Slattery develops under Ralph, I think he has the potential to become very good.

Fair point about Shane though he still looks as fit as a flea to me.

So tonight we have Chelsea v Brighton and Man City v Cardiff. Don’t want any upsets here, two home wins please!
