You Will have to remain gobsmacked garysfc!!!! I doget emotional and bled red duing the promotion seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12, but regarding SFC´s position and points ahead of Cardiff, I not going to go overboard in my excitement. Now if it was a Cup Final against Liverpool that would be a completely different matter.
So only on promotions & finals? Personally I feel survival from relagation just as important (maybe more) & exciting (in a perverse way). All to their own tho.

Fair comment! If relegtion is avoided, and I am optimistic, then the points target for next season needs to be 60 points. SFC ,bar Everton, is the most experienced side, along with West Ham, in the PL second tier. There is no excuse for another strugge next season. As for this, I hope for final total of around 42 points.

60 points? Let's not get carried away.

My target for the summer is fairly simple (without wishing to jump the gun, we have not finished yet), get all of the fringe big earners off the books so Ralph's day job becomes easier and more enjoyable.

Forster
Cedric
Hoedt
Clasie
Mo El
Chaz

for starters should save a large wodge...

still not convinced that Mario is in Ralph's plans, but we'll wait and see on that.

I think Mario has a mental issue. I don't think he has settled, I don't think he enjoys it here at all. But, there's a player in there, and we either get that on the pitch or recoup some dosh.
Shane offers very little now. He has regressed so much over the last few months, and now injuries and age are creeping up on him. We'll be lucky to shift he for nowt. Sadly.

I just don't think he fits English football or our team very well, but maybe Ralph will give him a chance to prove me wrong.
