he got him for 4.mil.

he was a brilliant striker then and far not if you get a gem.when you are building you take it.

at what point do we think with 3 forwards like we have that we need another of the same or look for plan b? I do t know.

it's next to impossible to k ow whos in his mind and who is the right fit

considering a top one costs even by football standards a bloody fortune he probably worked on the theory better spending in the areas team needed it more.
We'll find out in summer with the caveat that i think bolstering the depth of defence will be priority 1.
 
i still wonder about the young lads and if any are in klopps mind.

glatzel is young and I'm not sure he's got the pace.
brewster could be good or he could be out next asset to breed.and sell
Duncan could be the one who can play different positions.

would we try them out in preseason before deciding.

I don't know....

he was level with lukaku at a time there as a young player but I just don't see him as a top half prem striker.

oh i agree on his attitude its just he has the basic attributes to be a really important player for us as cover right across the front 3 but , and as i've said before its a huge but , he has to get his act together otherwise he will always be a frustrating "what he could have been" player.

Yeah. We need to find a real gem to partner Virg when Gomez is injured - which is most of the time.
We're not exactly suffering a dearth of goals, though a few more wouldn't hurt.

more likely loaned out to see how they do in "real" football.

yes basic attributes. but yes, no faith in him being happy being bit part nor having the focus to be ready for that chance for 15mins.

my view is you need to be young and hungry or you need to be genuinely pushing the 3 for their place.
 
Pedro Chirivella has expressed his frustration at being left in limbo as the Liverpool midfielder admitted he wants a return to Spain next season.

Chirivella is on loan at Extremadura until the end of the campaign but is unable to play after the deal failed to be ratified in time on deadline day in January.

The 21-year-old, whose last Liverpool appearance came in May 2016, has instead been training with the Spanish second division side.

Liverpool have completed the signing of a star for the future.

Reds staff have been impressed by young goalkeeper Ben Winterbottom after his trial with the club.

Winterbottom, 17, has now linked up with Liverpool's Under-18 side after signing from Blackburn.

The teenage goalkeeper was on the Liverpool bench for their victory over Everton in their derby.

Liverpool U18s boss Barry Lewtas told the Liverpool Echo: "Ben was available and with the injuries we've got, it's about making sure we have enough cover.
 
Klopp has said a lot about Brewster in the past and I believe he would be in match day squads this season pre injury. Depends how he gets on now he is past that

he has done alright coming on as a sub in the second half of the season and we need to be pragmatic regarding what we can do in the transfer market.
