I expect him to be still here. He's been a good impact player the last few this he's been called upon, better option than Studge and he's still young too
Still dead end option and while he's done ok he really only has done ok. He has offered a little flexibility and that's the only reason he's got game time. Give him 3 no the off on the bench and he will be **** coming in. We just need more tbh.
The front 3 have long contracts do let's assume they are locked in. Shaqiri is option 6 and will only play right wing by the llook of things now. So we certainty need a player who has ability to play across the line. That's 1. The question from there is what does klopp do with the youth at club. Brewster, glatzel and Duncan. Origi... maybe he will score winner in cl final and move for 30 or 40mil... who knows but I don't think he is what klopp wants
you keep moaning that we hardly any cover for the front 3 the want rid of the bit we do have.Plus If we do that we would need 2 forward players plus at least 2 defenders and a creative ,preferably goalscoring, midfielder just don't see it myself.
I can see Shaq being moved on for a big profit if I’m honest. No pace. Origi can cover up top but shouldn’t be the first player we turn to.
We’re missing a first choice forward. For me, we need 4 players to rotate. Our front 3 have looked tired at times as the gulf in class between them and our next best is too big. Might be tough to achieve but it’s what we need imo.
The advantage we now have is both Mane & Salah have played as CF so we have flexibility in the forward we bring in. If i had to guess think it may be an out & out CF and Origi to be 5 option.
You could be right on shaqiri tbh.he briefly looked useful but he's basically fulfilled what many thought he would be like overall.
If all 3 can play false 9 or across the line wouldn't we want someone who could fill in wide areas more than a straight up no 9 who is less flexible?
maybe - just thought that in some games i think we miss an out & out number 9 but if one would really work for us has to be a slight suck it & see case. If we go for one who can play along the line i.e. Werner type can then see us buying a straight forward CF and Origi being surplus to requirements.
I think Klopp prefers flexibility in his forward players. I can't really see him going for a one-trick pony no matter how good a trick it is.
some one who is a fox in the box type.can be useful but we have to create the type.of chances they need. do we see origi as a target man? option d or e? I don't know. our ideal maybe would be a new aubameyang? pace, can play wide and can finish.
i see Origi more as a wide player who scores - sort of a poor mans Auba but he can play as CF to a reasonable level. The worry with Origi is the huge drop in performances which occur.
poor man's is right. he says he's young like it's an excuse for being lazy. the reality is his head drops imo. he was level with lukaku at a time there as a young player but I just don't see him as a top half prem striker.
